The EA5801-GP08 provides GPON access, and it provides a unified carrying platform for multiple services, including broadband, voice, video, and monitoring. • The EA5801-GP08 supports POL and FTTH network construction modes. It carries all services over one fiber network, simplifying network architecture and reducing OPEX. • The EA5801-GP08 can be installed in indoors or outdoors cabinets. When installed outdoors, it can be easily deployed in high temperatures, conserving man power and cabinet space.

The EA5801-CG04 provides XG-PON&GPON combo access, and it provides a unified carrying platform for multiple services, including broadband, voice, video, and monitoring. • The EA5801-CG04 supports the PON combo technology, and can work with the built-in WDM1r optical module to support smooth evolution from GPON to XG-PON. • The EA5801-CG04 supports POL and FTTH network construction modes. It carries all services over one fiber network, simplifying network architecture and reducing OPEX. • The EA5801-CG04 can be installed in indoors or outdoors cabinets. When installed outdoors, it can be easily deployed in high temperatures, conserving man power and cabinet space.

H921MPCAE is a control module. It is the core of the system control and service switching and aggregation.

H921MPCAE can also function as the management and control core of the integrated network management system (NMS). It communicates with service module about the key management and control information through the master/slave serial port and inband channel. In this manner, the H921MPCAE configures, manages, and controls the device, and also implements the simple route protocol functions.

 

H921NXHCE board is an upstream module, which provides two 10GE/GE upstream ports and 2 GE upstream ports. The GE port supports optical-electrical switching.

 

H921GPHDE board is an 8-port GPON interface module. It works together with the optical network unit (ONU) to provide GPON access services.

 

H921CIUA board is a virtual general interface board. It supports functions such as input and output of alarm digital parameters.

 

Power Module:

Connected to the external AC or DC power supply, the power module converts the voltage of such power supply into a proper voltage using its power module and powers the other modules in the chassis.

The DC power module H921PICA leads one –48 V DC or –60V DC power through a 2-pin 30 A quick-connect terminal. Power passes through a protection circuit and isolated power converter, and is converted to stable 12 V power for the backplane. The backplane then supplies power to other devices in the service subrack.

Fan Module:

The fan module of the EA5801–GP08 has three fans and fan monitoring board H921FMCA, and functions heat dissipation, monitoring, and fan speed adjustment, which ensures that the device works at a stable temperature.
