Active Oxygen is said to be the cause of most skin rust (aging).
Anti-oxidant agents such as vitamin C, polyphenol, and Co-enzyme Q10 are well known for their suppressive and inhibitive properties against active oxygen.
However, these agents are effective against only one type of active oxygen and for a limited period.
Platinum not only removes active oxygen but also provides 26 hours of protection.
We, Bi-EST Cosmetics Co., Ltd. through our platinum series, are the first in Japan to provide platinum skin care products that are effective against many types of activeoxygen.
Main ingredients and their effect:
(1) Negative ion reducing water
ⅰ. The cleansing effect of sebum secretion
Negative ions contained in the Pt. Water covers the surface of lipids and skin, then peels off dirt and lipids of the skin.
ⅱ. Antibacte
Negative ion reducing water is alkaline which shows pH 12.0 ± 0.5, so it is impossible to propagate bacteria in this environment. In the experiments, acne bacteria was not detected at all after 1 minute of application.
ⅲ. Penetration effect
By using Pt. water before the essence, the penetration rate of the cosmetic ingredient into the skin is dramatically improved.
ⅳ. Moisturizing effect
The surface tension of water is 72 dyn / cm2, whereas the surface tension of negative ion water is only 56 dyn / cm2, so it is easy to fit into the skin and it gives moisture to the skin relatively than water.
(2) Thioctic acid
Thioctic acid is also known as alpha-lipoic acid. Its antioxidant power is nearly 400 times more than vitamin C or E. It penetrates deep into the skin and maximizes its strong antioxidant effect. It also activates other antioxidants (vitamin C/E. glutathione).
